In this episode, Stephanie Danler, author of best-selling novel Sweetbitter, talks to P.F. Kluge about her writing workshop at Kenyon, whether or not to read your book’s reviews, and how to make time for writing when you’re working in the restaurant industry.

Stephanie Danler is a writer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her first novel, Sweetbitter, was published by Knopf in 2016. She holds an MFA in creative writing from the New School.

P.F. Kluge is Writer in Residence at Kenyon College. He is the author of Gone Tomorrow and A Call From Jersey, published by Overlook. Two films, Dog Day Afternoon and Eddie and the Cruisers, are based on his work.
