Late Oracle Sonnet

 1) Up late last night up late now this morning  2) The new clover whitening the hillside  3) The glass empty on the zinc counter  4) Also the white thimble of coffee awaiting you  5) The cello she once painted turquoise & black  6) Nobody cares nobody moves nobody thinks  7) The spray of iris sprawled across the sofa  8) The windows are blank with last night's rum  9) The rhinestones suckled in the lead of the day 10) The comfrey & the feldspar & the drying mud of night 11) The columns made entirely of white dust 12) That terrible taste that horrible taste 13) The anise seeds lodged in the teeth of the corpse 14) The opal ink scrolling the single page of her skin
