An illicit hunger for contemporary literature

We read Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale in my high school Utopian Literature course, which was delicious, but I’m even more pleased to hear that books by Ian McEwan, this year’s recipient of the Kenyon Review Award for Literary Achievement, are incorporated into English Lit classes in Britain.
