Contests & rejection

Our lovely managing editor, Meg, has pointed me to this. Keep in mind, though, that sometimes perserverance pays off.

580 Split is taking submissions (website is, as of this writing, down–server overloaded with traffic)–and they’re taking hard copy. Postmark deadline is October 1. No idea about compensation. I checked Duotrope, but didn’t find a listing. According to the press release, they’re also hosting a contest. For those of you who want the address (and more information about the contest), it’s after the jump.

Copied directly from their press release:

580 Split announces a Call for Submissions for its 9th issue!
